When Travis wakes up aboard Medical Space Station Perl, its not surprising shes laid up. She last recalls being mutilated and near death. Unfortunately, nothing else makes any sense.
All of her memories are turned upside down and inside out.
Adding to her struggle for sanity, some very bad people are pursuing her. And its not a paranoid delusion. She doesnt know who to trust. People protecting her are getting hurt.
Taking matters into her own hands, using knowledge she can barely trust, she goes into hiding. It quickly becomes evident she needs help. Shell have to trust others while putting them in danger.
Even more urgently, she has to figure out how to stop shifting in and out of JumpSpace.
