A sexy and intense prequel to The Edge Series.
There's a war going on.
I need to pay attention to my job, not the surgeon. Not his sky-blue eyes or the confidence in his hands. Not the smile under his mask or the way it fits on his jaw.
And doctor or not, gorgeous or not, only a complete jerk would drop his pants in front of me just as a show of dominance.
But he's a force of nature, and I don't think I can resist him much longer.
It's not until I'm the casualty and he's standing over me that I realize I love him.
I want to tell him before I go under. Just a few words before we're separated.
But it might be too late.
The Edge Series.

Over the Edge
Warning: if you read this be prepared to be drawn into a story that you will be helpless to turn away from until you have finished this entire ‘Edge’ series. This story will drag you in and set you on an emotional roller coaster that is horrific and romantic at the same time. Well written too. So much to say but speechless at the same time. WOW!
Sharp writing embeds you in this story
I have never sunk into a story so fast and so soundly as to feel a story so hard. CD Reiss’ writing was crisp, fast paced and authentic. I have read a lot of books based in war environments and this felt realistic, Stark, and dark. Greyson, am army psychiatrist is immediately attracted to Caden St. John, a surgeon who is a civilian signed on on a temporary basis. Their relationship forms with a military push of eight crazy days with over 230 casualties in around 200 hours. It sets the stage for the continuation of their story in Rough Edge. I adored these two characters and the chemistry between them. The adrenaline of the war seemed to heighten everything but their connection was authentic and deep. One of the top books of 2018. As is Rough Edge. Stunning new series by CD Reiss.
In between these pages lie the stark and brutal honesty about serving your country. Add two complicated people in the mix and you have something so raw and emotional.
