Déjà vu, Presque vu, Jamais vu is a collection of nine essays, drawn from multiple published sources which span many years of the critical writings of artist Nigel Helyer (aka DrSonique) on the topic of sound-art and sound-sculpture. The majority of the texts are reflections upon his creative research in the fields of the biological and environmental sciences as a means of reflecting upon our ever changing relationship to the 'natural' world. The texts are especially suitable for graduate students of contemporary art.
