Damien the Leper

What Damien did for the Lepers of Molokai was truly unbelievable. In just a few years he transformed the living standards of those truly destitute lepers to bring World Wide Recognition to the plight of Molokai and its now upgraded living standards for its 800 lepers.


Even if their stay in this world was short lived.


In the process of transforming the life style of the lepers - Damien slowly transformed into a leper himself.


Damien not only lived for the lepers - he eventually died for them as well.
