Dancing Dangerously Down Sierra Leone Road - A Trinidadian Non-Love Story

Falling in love with a man 17 years older than her was not in her plans. That he would be from a different cultural background was completely out of the question. But one unsuspecting night, on the streets of Brixton in London, the twisting dance began. The tale began with all the ingredients of a great romance, but then took a turn of the course somewhere.

We follow the story of a young Sierra Leonean student as she falls in love with a Trinidadian artist. The awakening and lessons in adult love are rude, but she shares them with humour and poignancy. From the good times to the painful, the long break and exciting dalliances in between are all revealed. Then a coincidental meeting years later puts the two lovers in contact again. Facing unresolved feelings, betrayals of new relationships and confusion we meet the two again, and wonder what the future will hold. Something beautiful......or nothing at all?
