Dangling Participle

I have three goals:

Finish my book.

Escape my nightmare boss.

Survive living with my evil twin sisters. (Think Cinderella, but with more profanity.)

Falling for the gorgeous barista at my favorite coffee shop was definitely not part of the plan.

Then he finds my flash drive.

And reads my manuscript.

Mortifying? Absolutely.

Worse? The infuriatingly handsome barista turns out to be a bestselling author who offers to help me finish my novel.

Suddenly, I'm spending way too much time with a man who makes my pulse race and my imagination run wild. Especially when we get to the steamy scenes.

But the closer we become, the harder it is to separate fiction from reality—and the more I risk losing my heart.
