Daniel Wants to Fly

Daniel lives in the little village of Everglades. Daniels cousins live on the lakes beyond the large forest surrounding the village. Every time Daniel asks his mother if they can go and visit his cousins he is told they have flown away to distant lands far across the world.

He longs for the day when he too, can fly to all those exciting sounding names throughout the world. His recent geography lesson at school has inspired him even more to learn how to fly and he can hardly wait to tell his mother all about them.

Daniel is even more excited when mother tells him Grandfather Hamish, who has travelled all over the world, is coming to stay
