In Part 2 of Dark Days, Lady Dinah holds Anjee hostage as she searches for a means to control Ralen, the one person able to counter the influence of the Last God. Ralen is a weapon that could destroy everything, but who will wield him? 

The Last God's generals, Dinah and Adarmis, vie for supremacy and for their freedom. Once immortals, they are forced to serve the Last God, but Ralen's mere presence sows discord, and they—as well as others who serve the god—are now free to plot.
