In the distant past there existed a secret philosophy. Numerous esoteric cults practiced its discipline in ancient traditions far older than modern religions. The adept of our philosophy are now very few indeed, and yet the ancient seed lives on. We who remain are the last living adherents to the ancient Heresy that was so cruelly opposed by the great inquisitions of the Middle Ages. --- We have always communicated in secret symbols.
