Dr. Kelly McKay survived a plane crash that killed her father and compelled her to become an ER physician. At age twenty-eight, she is close to completing her medical training when a serial killer prowls near the Seattle hospital where she works. Challenging struggles to save stabbing victims in a busy university trauma center tax her physical and mental resolve to be hired for a prized position upon completion.
