Defying Fate

Mibekel has been stealthily under siege for generations. Karantu and his unexpected band have

unveiled the Imakun and their successful plot pitting the races against one another. Mutually

assured destruction is imminent if ignorance is left to fester.

Divided and all but conquered, now Elves, Dwarves, Trolls and even Humans must converge or

all will be lost. Steeped in this knowledge, Karantu must, nonetheless, stand trial for the crime of

his birth.

Born of a Human father and Elven mother makes Kar problematic on principle, and he knew his

quest would conclude with the solution. Championed by his Elven soldier brother, his

incandescent Mage ward, his Dark Elf ex-paladin best friend, a renowned High Priestess, as

well as a fierce Human warrior, Kar faces his lifelong nemesis: his own people. High Emissary

Lenchiyi will determine his fate—the impending annihilation of Mibekel notwithstanding.

The Barrier is down, and its truth might set Kar free. First, he must keep everyone from killing

each other.
