Destiny Lays Under Your Feet

Valentine has been taken by her employer, Mr Xanthic, to an ancient monastery where two sides stand guard over the most unique and powerful of relics. But one has gone missing, the Spear of Destiny, the fabled holy lance that made swift the Christs departure from this world and into the next.

With the Spear gone the fragile truce between the Light and the Dark is poised to shatter and with that the fate of us all. Xanthic has been summoned to solve the crime, but why him? He's not that important in the scale of things nor is he that wildly renowned for this type of work. Could it be all based on a one time fleeting acquaintance is all that's brought him here or does someone else want Xanthic there for more sinister reasons?

Whatever happens, Valentine will be right there with a front row seat.
