My Nona always said, "Raven, life's a gamble, play the hand you're given". I'm not certain she meant surviving an apocalypse. In one cataclysmic event, the civilization of modern-day America disappears. I'm tossed into a dangerous and violent new realm, struggling with my insecurities, questioning my morality, and fighting to protect those within my care.
