Enjoyable
Two different worlds and possible romance. A determined Prince needs to find mates for his people. Perhaps there’s someone for him. Love the strong characters. JackieT
First Contact
This story is the first time any of the Draig (dragon shifters) and the Var (cat shifters) make contact with current day humans. When Eve attracts Kyran’s attention and travels through the portal to Qurilixen, she’s in for some serious culture shock. I really enjoyed the banter between Eve and Kyran, she was so strong willed and he was so confused by her sass and Tm her references, the result was a blast. A great read, especially as an intro to this world.
Portal to earth
What a great start to a new sci-fi/shifter series. It always makes me smile to see the creativity and humour used to portray off-worlders trying to fit in as humans in social settings and especially romance. Clearly learning about culture, language, modes of dress and social interactions from television programming leaves many opportunities for hilarious outcomes! Kyran and Eve were a wonderful pair to start this series. It made me smile to see their awkward yet very lighthearted interactions in this unique situation. I can’t wait to see what happens with the next Prince!
