Detour Berlin

When Ruth, the daughter of a Philippine diplomat meets an African-American singer, she has already lived on three continents. The Berlin Crisis brings the couple to West Berlin, the Divided City. For Ruth, West Berlin is just one more stopover in her quest to find a permanent home in the U.S. But the city, its people, the ironies of its division, its recent hideous past fascinate then capture the minds and hearts of this inter-racial couple.
