The Empire of the Dhogs have arrived. Disgraced Imperial Lieutenant and Thornslinger, Kyra Larr was imprisoned for the crime of decimating her former command with the very magical weapon she wields. Released back into service, she's been sent to the western front of Trindian Island in preparation for an invasion of Terragard.

The plan is simple. Sneak a company of dhog soldiers behind enemy lines and open a portal. But when the landing goes wrong, Kyra must lead a ragtag company through hostile territory. In the heat of battle, where the stakes are deadly, a conspiracy of lies surfaces and threatens everything she believes in.
