Tessa's TV show Pet Planet is going from strength to strength, and so is her love life.

As pet psychic Guinevere predicted, there is love in the air, and it looks like it might be happening with Clark Varney, the director of her TV show. But just as it seems they might be about to get together, her ex-boyfriend Ryan returns to Los Angeles for Christmas…and things get complicated.

As if that isn't enough, when filming a rehearsal for one of the biggest jewelry charity auctions that the city has ever seen, protestors disrupt the show, sending the cast and crew into a tailspin. The canine models of the jewelry must be taken offstage quickly and led to safety.

With the help of the gang, Tessa embarks on an adventure that will test the limits of her endurance as she battles to save Twinkletoes and the other dogs from an unknown fate. The race against time takes her down into subterranean Los Angeles, and into a fire that may be the end to so much she holds dear.

Amidst this background of fear and despair, Tessa must follow her heart, and choose the love she believes will last a lifetime. Will it be Ryan, whom she's loved for years, or will it be Clark, the man she respects professionally and is attracted to?
