Part III of the Stamina trilogy.It was war they wanted. It was war they got.
It seemed the end was near for punched-out Eager Battalion as they limped into little old Wrangelton, pursued by a host of Mechs in free-fire mode. Ready to fire up their gun trucks and run for their lives as the relentless corporate security Mechs closed in once more, they are surprised to discover they aren't alone in their fight. An equally weird collection of oddball and flamboyant competing media battalion adversaries, in full retreat and just as crazy, join in the fray.Even stranger, the bat-shit crazy townsfolk of belligerent, defiant and armed-to-the-teeth Wrangleton are riled up and determined to put an end to the oppressive Corpz forces and take back what they'd lost a generation earlier. They don't intend to stand around while the battle of a lifetime is fixing to rock the frontier, and their rascal of a colonel is going to make sure that everyone gets to play.
The gun barrels glow red hot and it rains shells as a half dozen fierce battles set the stage for a cataclysmic final showdown, with human and Mech throwing everything they have at each other to take all or die trying.
