The civilized world has met its bitter end. What remains of humanity has escaped into technological utopias spaced around the globe. However, the system could accept only so many people and continue to operate at optimal levels. Many were forced to live on the fringes of the surrounding Wastelands, to hustle and gripe for their undeserving lives under the ground.
