Jack Mosey is in a predicament--he's underwater on his mortgage and the best option his broker suggests is donation of his eyes. Not to worry, prosthetic eyes almost as good as the original can replace them. Told through a series of letters exchanged between the two, Jack Mosey is slowly convinced to donate more and more of his sensory organs, until he at last finds his humanity slipping away as he embraces his new cyborg identity. 4000 words.
