Norm Cole grew up in a small town in Northern Wisconsin.
His parents owned a sawmill and logging business. He served
four years in the military and completed graduate school at the
University of Wisconsin, Madison. As a private pilot, he obtained
his land and sea ratings. Norm also worked as a consultant for
ten years and has owned and operated several tourist resorts and
campgrounds, including a wilderness fly-in resort in northern
Canada, which provided years of flying float planes in the bush.
Norm and his wife Gloria live in Bemidji, Minnesota, and have
three children and ten grandchildren. Norm owns a commercial
real estate business selling only resorts and campgrounds.
