How does a woman begin to re-shape her life at the age of sixty?


Since her husband left her for a younger woman eight years ago, Donna has been single. After hitting rock bottom, she has now come to a fork in the road: it is time to make some changes.


Donna is determined to re-claim and rebuild her life, but can she overcome difficult family crises that confront her? Can a sixty year old woman find romance again? She decides, with some trepidation, to explore the world of internet dating, with the support and encouragement of her close friends, a group of women who meet on the first Saturday of each month.


She embarks on a series of adventures and mis-adventures. This account of personal discovery is a “coming of age” story of a woman in the second half of life who finds the courage to begin again.



About the Author: 

Glenys was previously a women’s fashion designer for several years, before returning to study in her thirties. She subsequently pursued a career as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist, and still works in private practice. Missing the creative dimension of her life, she began her first novel four years ago. She now enjoys writing as a source of nourishment and ongoing passion, and her understanding of people, derived from both personal and professional experience, provides a backdrop to her novels, poetry and personal development texts.
