A Must-Read Book for Project Management Practitioners

A wonderful and valuable addition to my library of essential books that I refer to again and again---and it's enjoyable to read too!

"Herding cats" is used in metaphors to describe how difficult something is. Managing the complexities of Project Management is like herding cats. It means getting them to move in the same direction: This is what a project manager strives to do.

David L. Levin's book, "Don't Just Talk, Be Heard!" has inspired and guided me in managing the complexities of project management---notably effective communications with stakeholders!

Soft skills deliver hard results. Delivering projects on time and within budget and scope requires more than the ability to apply project management processes and techniques. It also takes soft skills which address the human side of projects. After all, it’s the people who deliver the work, not the tools.
