Publisher Description
An opposites attract, frenemies-with-benefits, he falls first, hockey romance from Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, Kelsie Rae
My abusive ex just connected me to some VERY inappropriate photos online.
Normally, I wouldn't let it bother me, but he's ruining my future and everything I've worked for.
And what's worse?
The infamous Henry Buchanan--who happens to be the new owner of the NHL Lions--is offering to bail me out.
I hate handouts almost as much as I hate Henry.
Still, I do need this job.
And creating social media content for a bunch of hot hockey players is a walk in the park.
Until my billionaire boss starts acting jealous.
But what's worse?
My response.
Frenemies with benefits, anyone?
Yeah.
Because I have a history of making great decisions.
Customer Reviews
What a brilliant conclusion to the Don't Let Me series - sad to see it end!
Kelsie Rae - you've done it again, but not only that! You've done it the best!! This Book, Don't Let Me Down, has got to be, by far and away, my favourite of yours, my favourite of this series, and what a way to end them all! You sure wrapped it up with a bang!
Bringing in all of the characters (and thank you for Let Me Love You to give epilogues of the other character arcs, because it was so important to have those details coming into this book), continuing their journeys as Lions hockey players, with this book being about the team owner Henry, and his obsession with the player's and their WAGS bestie Mia (he used to be her professor, before he started the NHL team at LAU).
When Henry found out she was being harassed by her ex about an OF (only fans) page she used to have in order to survive, the only way she could earn enough to pay student loans, he creates a social media manager position for the team to hire her, gives her an apartment in his building, and somehow, even with a no fraternization policy for the team, he gets her in his bed (he has a girlfriend he's got suspicions about and he doesn't want Mia there - but it somehow still happens).
It's such a fast-paced story, and even with it being over 400 pages, it feels like it's too short - so much happens, with Henry and Mia, with Mia and her ex, and with all the characters from the previous books. I hung on every word and wish there was more to the book! I'm sad that this one and the whole series is over.
I love this entire series, I love Kelsie Rae, and I cannot wait to start the second-generation books now - there was a sneak-peak chapter at the end for the spin-off series and WOW! Now I'm even more excited to keep reading everything she ever writes! I'm a life-long Kelsie Rae Stan!
If you have not read the Don't Let Me series by Kelsie Rae - I don't understand what you are waiting for? Even if you don't enjoy hockey romances, several of these books are only just hockey-adjacent, including this one, so you should just run out and pick up the whole series now. She's a brilliant author and storyteller and you don't understand what you're missing out on! Especially this book!
I received a copy from BookSprout and this is my honest review.
