Doom's Day

Lorna "Doom" Honeywell knew there would be days like this, but she was just doing what she did best, stomping through life in her combat boots with that dark attitude, one sarcastic comment and inappropriate snicker at a time.

Until him, that is.

She doesn't want him, she tells herself. She's never asked for anything from him. Yet the bear offers her all she could ever want and more, if only she's willing to take that leap, and play by his rules.
Lor never much liked rules.
And that wolf friend of his, that guy had it out for her, she doesn't care how he looks at her when he thinks she's not looking.

When Doom's life comes to a head and she is forced to accept some harsh truths about herself, as well as make some decisions, she realizes her day has finally come.
