However, Ellie soon discovers that the forest holds more dangers than she could have ever imagined and that the price of saving her grandfather's life may be higher than she is willing to pay.

Ellie finds an unlikely ally in Pipwhistle, a mischievous Quibnocket who agrees to guide her through the dangerous wilds. Together, they face down monstrous wolves, outwit greedy bog dwellers, and even come face to face with Aurathorn, the fearsome dragon who guards the Dragonscale Moss.
