Great read!
I am so happy I stumbled across this book! Olive is not your average therapist... she is half-elf and can travel between Earth and Faythander without losing her memory. She embarks on a quest to save her godson and much adventure occurs. This book has action, humor, and a touch of romance. I am looking forward to reading more!
A very good read
I love it
Magic Therapy?
Dream thief is the first book of this series where we are introduced to Olive who is a therapist with a degree in psychology. She is referred clients who do not respond to the "normal" treatments used by her peers. Olive is able to identify if individuals have visited Faythander, a magical realm where elves, dragons and other magical beings reside. She has discovered that some people are falling into comas and there are no medical reasons to explain why. By entering their dreams, Olive discovers an evil force is involved and both realms are at risk. Olive returns to Faythander to investigate.
This story possess adventure, mystery, magic and a touch of romance. It is fun to meet the characters on both sides of the veil. As the tale develops, we journey with Olive while she creates new relationships and defines old ones.
Faythander is a great place to visit, but would you want to live there? If you read Dream Thief, you may begin to find out. I enjoyed finding out, so I'm off to the next book in the story. I was given a free copy of this book to write an honest review. Ironically, I already had it in my library. Regardless, the review is honest.
