Emma Lea’s First Tea Party

Emma Lea is finally old enough to join the women of the family at Grammy's annual birthday tea party. She faces disappointment when the tradition isn't what she expects but the uncomfortable situation inspires changes for the whole family.

Based on the original story by author, Babette Donaldson and original watercolor illustrations by Jerianne Van Dijk, this digital version has been made interactive with teatime activities for young children, recipes for family teatimes, videos of Babette preparing tea and an audio file of "An Afternoon Tea Song" by Zack David with an opportunity to download the sheet music.
