Enemies packs one heck of a punch!
Three books combined to make one, Enemies packs one heck of a punch. It's gritty, daring, and downright dirty at times, filled with everything the underworld of clubbing holds. It intrigued my senses with thoughts of thudding bass notes, frenzied dancing, and multitudes of bodies writhing to the hot tracks laid down by a dazzling female DJ, all ruled over by a hot billionaire. Vivid descriptions made me part of the club's nightlife, dragged me into Rae and Harrison's combustible conflicts, and made me blush and squirm when they got hot and heavy, despite their dislike of each other at times.
Picture Rae's diamond-encrusted headphones hanging around her neck, as she sends Harrison a two-handed one-finger salute, daring him to interfere with her set. These enemies will become lovers, and their determination sparks a fierce fire. A billionaire who always gets what he wants versus a headstrong woman determined to step onto her dream stage, their battles kept me engrossed in every page. But their struggle to find a path to a happy ending, their worst foe was self-sabotage, which added a layer of inspiration. Rae and Harrison's journey proves that being headstrong is a powerful force.
