Author didn’t even bother to research strip clubs
As a strip club manager, I can tell you the author has never stepped foot in a strip club or researched one. Strippers keep their tips. What strip club doesn’t have strippers who can dance properly especially in somewhere like New York? There would be no shortage of highly talented performers. What kind of strip club has a dance floor where men pay to slow dance with strippers? That’s what lap dance rooms are for but apparently the main character refuses to give lap dances, only sells slow dances and dances on stage fully clothed. And then she gives away all the money she makes. This makes 0 sense. Do your research!
