Dr. Edmondo Ricci, Senior Curator of the Uffizi Gallery, is found face-down on the floor of the Vasari Corridor — the elevated passage that connects the Uffizi to the Palazzo Pitti, running above the Ponte Vecchio and the commerce below it. He is positioned beneath the Gallery's self-portrait collection.
