L'article presente les resultats d'une analyse de recherches bresiliennes portant sur les pratiques enseignantes. Par le biais d'une analyse de contenu de 89 articles scientifiques publies entre 1985 et 2004, l'etude degage les intentions et les conceptions de la pratique enseignante qui president aux recherches ainsi que les phases et les dimensions de l'intervention educative etudiees. Centrees sur le discours des enseignants a l'egard de leurs pratiques, ces etudes comportent plusieurs lacunes susceptibles d'entraver sa transposition en dispositif de formation. Si l'article n'apporte pas de reponses definitives aux questions qu'il souleve, il permet de degager des pistes theorico-methodologiques permettant d'alimenter les reflexions des chercheurs partout ou l'analyse des pratiques represente un enjeu majeur pour l'actualisation des reformes.
