Always in trouble with her Fairy Godmother  Superior, Maven starts her second week on the job with trepidation when her boss, possessed by a witch's spirit, turns her into a cat. Maven must grant three wishes among the people who have given up on wishing, even if she could explain who and what she is. The daughter of the miller whose brother got Puss in Boots, the son of Jack who climbed the Beanstalk, and Baby Bear, all grown up are trying to find their way in a world that makes no sense. CAn she find a way to grant the wishes they don't want to admit they have and manage to save her boss, or will she decide that it's better just to stay a cat?
