Complicated thriller

I gave this book a 4-star rating although I did feel the writing deserved a 5-star. For me, I found it a difficult read trying to sort out the characters and follow the plot. It was complicated, much like a Ludlum novel with lots of unnecessary information. The writing was very good with excellent descriptions, good research and knowledge of government systems.
