Fantastic Free Verse

Eighteen student writers applied what they learned about figurative language, poetic structures, and rhythm to contribute a free-verse poem for this book. The students were inspired to write reactions and observations to photographs that caught their attention. Additionally, they each conducted a search for a poem that exemplified literary devices, such as metaphor, to be included in a glossary-like collection of found poetry.
