Far Away Powers

What of healing beyond skin?

All the joy that nature brings

Leaves behind a nice feeling.

In a water droplet, I see life teeming

Plankton are fighting, feeding, fleeing -

Lighting up when they are stressed -

Like our world but with smaller beings.

In my mind, it's mesmerising

In my heart, there's no disguising 

The change in me.

A debut collection of poetry from Gary Miles. Containing poems on love, romance, hope and the cosmos. Each poem is complete in itself though collectively they form a tapestry of words in time. Words of longing, lament, hope and healing. 

The style is lyrical, free-verse. A calm voice guides us through emotion and imagery while we await the return of light.
