The story tells about the author, her calling, to walk the 800 kilometer Camino Santiago de Compostela in the fall of 2014. She begins with the events that led her to this spiritual pilgrimage; the passing of her mother-in-law, followed closely by her sister, and then finally, her aunt. To add to the injury, her marriage was having challenges as well.
