Good

If one can get over the Over use of the words "oh my", "damn", and "my sex" and the terrible writing, then one might find this a great book. Storyline is strong and keeps one wanting more. I will be looking forward to reading the next book. Sex scenes a little too much for me though.

Don't believe the hype!

If you hate Twilight, don't bother with this.

This book started off as Twilight fanfiction. It becomes extremely obvious after a few chapters. Instead of a obsessive and controlling vampire, you have an obsessive and controlling sex maniac. The female protagonist based on Bella is just as bad with the constant lack of common sense, tripping over herself, and inability to define herself as a woman outside of Edw--I mean Christian.

At least with Twilight you got some purple prose. Fifty Shades of Grey is full of juvenile writing, with overuse of the word "murmur". Apparently the characters in this book have a hard time speaking in normal tones.

Even as an erotica, the sex scenes were not well written and failed to evoke any type of emotion other than indifference.

I honestly cannot find one redeeming quality with this book. It is most definitely the worst book I've half-read since Twilight.

This is a great page turner at the start. However, the constant sex scenes get redundant after a while. Like porn, fun at first...but then it's boring.
