I found this novel very riveting. I grew up in the timeframe it takes place and remember the issues of the island people.

Christine Lane has her first real job as a policewoman. Toronto Island an island paradise. A murder, drug running, and the usual summer activities that keep police busy. Christine gets to experience it all while tracking down a murderer who is tracking her.
