I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It brings me back to a simpler time (late 1960’s) and being from Ottawa, and having been to Toronto - and Toronto Island I found it intriguing. The characters all feel real, the story as well. Everything blended so well and it made for enjoyable reading- good mystery and not “dark”.

I found this novel very riveting. I grew up in the timeframe it takes place and remember the issues of the island people.
