Finding Real Treasure

Spring break had almost arrived. Freddie and Carlos could hardly wait to have a week away from school—especially away from Ms. Nelson’s English class. The boys had concluded she just didn’t like them or, at the very least, she didn’t like having them in her class. Being away from her for a whole week was something they were really looking forward to. 



But, it was not going to be the kind of break from school they had anticipated. Before they knew it their plans for the week would change. Instead of enjoying a break, they were going to be plunged into a whole new adventure, one that would involve Ms. Nelson in a way they never expected.
