Loved it!!
I have been anticipating Rachel Grant's next book in her Flashpoint series for months and Firestorm delivered all the adventure, mystery, and romance that I love in her books. Her characters are always so well written that you can't help but feel a connection to them. I loved Savannah "Savvy" James...her integrity and strength shone through despite the duplicitous work she is ordered to do for the CIA. The relationship that develops between her and Green Beret, Cassius "Cal" Callahan is explosive! Cal is a perfect match for Savvy and when they are paired for a mission, betrayal and danger follow them. I was hooked from start to finish...who can resist a journey to the exotic streets of Tanzania and a trek through the jungles of the Congo in order to find a secret diamond mine? I love how important pieces of history are woven seamlessly into Savvy and Cal's story. Firestorm manages to educate and entertain at the same time; I can't wait for the next book!
