Flight (The Crescent Chronicles #1)
Publisher Description
Sometimes you just have to take flight.
A summer in New Orleans is exactly what Allie needs before starting college. Accepting her dad’s invitation to work at his hotel offers an escape from her ex-boyfriend and the chance to spend the summer with her best friend. Meeting a guy is the last thing on her mind—until she sees Levi.
Unable to resist the infuriating yet alluring Levi, Allie finds herself at the center of a supernatural society and forced to decide between following the path she has always trusted or saving a city that might just save her.

Engrossing read
You know if it weren’t for like the last 50-100 pages of this book I would have given it 5 stars. I’m kinda sorry it’s not a complete book and leaving so many questions.
Heads up though, this book (again the last 50-100 pages) contains possible triggers for some. The shift to this is so … sudden. And honestly unnecessary. Given the rest of the book, I have no doubt the author could have done something different to accomplish her end goal.
Good
Really liked it so much that I went and got the second book right away. Wasn't able to put the book down. I was up all night reading it.
