Flights of a Coast Dog

Flights of a Coast Dog was first published in hardcover in 2000 by Douglas and McIntyre and received a British Columbia book award. The second edition was in softcover and continued to be a best seller on the west coast. The third edition was published by Sono Nis Press and continues to be a definitive biography and history of bush flying, capturing the magnificent beauty of the British Columbia coast and revealing the colourful range of characters who people the myriad inlets of this magnificent area. The author flew this coast for a multitude of little airlines for a period of twenty years before hanging up his headphones and becoming the publisher and editor of a now popular aviation magazine. He is now the author of five published books on the subject of aviation on the BC coast.
