Good read
I watched the movie first and decided to read the book
No. Just…no.
Note to self: You are not a Harlan Coben Fan. I really only read this because I saw the Netflix series come out and thought maybe I was missing something. At least this saved me watching the series. I just don’t get it. So much of it felt sloppy…grammatical errors where it wasn’t clear if they were to be attributed to an otherwise intelligent character, inconsistent tone and voice, complete lack of character development to the point where you really just couldn’t care less about any of them, and just a horrible and unsatisfying ending. I spent 90% of this book focused on figuring out what I could read next. Huge disappointment.
Fool Me Once
Didn't like this novel as much as most of his others. Very clever but got tied up in too much psychological character analysis which detracted from the flow of the plot.
