Great books
For Sale in Palm Springs
The storyline itself was appealing, and it was refreshing to feature a main character who wasn't in their twenties or thirties. But, the use of punctuation and conventions was so poor it was distracting. Often, I had to re-read sections just to make sense of what the writer was trying to convey. Maybe it's because English isn't his first language; it made it a really difficult read for me.
Good read
This is a detective I wouldn't mind knowing personally. Some nice touches of reality in the loss of his wife and dealing with the changes that happen at retirement. I learned a bit about Palm Springs and real estate.
I would put this in the Murder She Wrote category for minor gore and a good puzzle.
I will be buying his other books.
