Freaking heart-wrenching perfection is what I just read! Mary, Mary, Mary, my heart is crushed Mary, but also so freaking happy cause Forbidden Fate was epic, Mary!

I'm telling you, this book right here is one of the best I've read in all the years that I've been reading romance.

Mary Catherine Gebhard's writing is incomparable, her talent is immeasurable and her stories are compelling, addictive, and completely awe-inspiring. My mind was blown by Stolen Soulmate, my life has shattered by Forbidden Fate. Not one second went by in this beautiful, heartbreaking book where I was not devastatingly hooked. Mary's storytelling takes on a life of its own and I tell you this, Forbidden Fate will rock your world.

Forbidden Fate will take you on an epic journey of heartbreak, happiness, hope, and devastation. It'll shatter your heart, give you hope, and make you feel every single possible emotion. After Stolen Soulmate, I couldn't wait to dive back into this crazy world that is Crowne Point with all its stuck-up rich folk and archaic mentality cause I missed all of the little details and heart-stopping drama/suspense. Forbidden Fate was something special, Mary Catherine Gebhard certainly didn't hold back at all with this gorgeous novel and I promise you, it'll be one of the best you'll ever read. The prose is captivating, the romance is enthralling and the characters are amazing. The hardships, struggles, and chaos they have to endure are thrilling and gutting in equal measures and broke my heart while also infusing it with so much hopefulness. Grayson and Story are star-crossed lovers with literally everything pulling them apart. Their chances at happiness are slim but neither of them is willing to give up on each other and that's what makes their story so intoxicating and breathtaking. And talk about steam, Forbidden Fate features some hot, hot, hotness and tons of angsty sexual tension. I was all for it cause it was swoony as hell!

Overall, I never cease to be blown away by Mary Catherine Gebhard's insane talent and ability to deliver brilliant stories with complex characters and tumultuous narratives. The romance she writes is not without its trials and challenges but it certainly hits you right in the feels and makes you come crawling back for more delicious pain. I am giving Forbidden Fate 5 incredible stars and would recommend it not only to fans of forbidden romance but also to everyone, every single person because this book has something for everyone. It is so completely captivating and there is something to be said for making the characters work for their love. I'm so happy I got the opportunity to read this phenomenal masterpiece, it's one of my top read of 2020 and of all-time!
