Publisher Description
A wedding planner and her grumpy ex must work together to plan a celebrity event in this deliciously spicy and funny novel that's perfect for fans of Ali Hazelwood and Sally Thorne.
Ama Torres is an optimistic wedding planner who doesn’t believe in marriage. But weddings? They’re amazing.
Elliot Bloom is a brooding florist who hates owning a flower shop…until a certain bright-eyed, donut-loving workaholic shows up at his door.
Once upon a time, they collaborated on events by day, and by night, Ama traced the intricate flower tattoos etched along his body. Then Ama shattered his heart and never spoke to Elliot again.
Now they’re working on an event that could make or break both of their careers—except neither of them has gotten over what happened two years ago. It doesn't help that the two brides, who see the obvious chemistry between Ama and Elliot, are determined to set them up. But as the wedding takes on a life of its own, Ama and Elliot are about to discover that some things can survive a complete catastrophe . . .
Smart and hilarious, Forget Me Not is about two people giving themselves—and love—a second chance.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Forget Me Not is a feel-good story about how it can take more than one big day for true love to bloom. Wedding planner Ama is ecstatic when she lands a gig working for a famous influencer. The only catch? She only has seven months to pull off an epic event that’ll be broadcast on reality TV. And did we mention that Ama’s cranky ex, Elliot, will be doing the floral arrangements? But as the pair teams up to help their business grow, their undeniable connection begins to take root again. As their high-pressure job brings out both the best and worst in them, Julie Soto perfectly captures both characters’ charms and draws us into the story of why they didn’t work out the first time around. We couldn’t wait for the two to just kiss and make up already!

Good
It’s a good read. The story kept me hooked the whole time. I gobbled it up in 2 days. I loved the switch between the past and the current. The love story is sweet, the characters dynamic. It gave me some good chest tingles. It’s a 2/10 in spice.
My gripes are that I felt the ending fell a little flat -still good, but like it was missing some magic. I also didn’t feel totally connected to the characters. Ama is a little selfish and that kinda put me off her. However, I actually really liked Elliot- I think the author did a good job at creating depth in him and staying consistent.
Overall I give it at 4/5. I would read again but it’s not going on my favourites list.
