Fort Hoskins Historic Park is located 16 miles northwest of Corvallis Oregon.  Built by the U.S Army in 1856, it is one of three forts; Hoskins, Yamhill and Umpqua established to maintain peace between Native Americans and settlers and to quell anti-Union Southern sympathizers. This publication is the result of 18 months of collaboration among educational, cultural, tribal and historical entities in Benton County Oregon.
