4.5 stars—FOURTH A LIE is the fourth instalment in Pepper Winters’ contemporary, adult GODDESS ISLES erotic, dark, romance series focusing on billionaire Sullivan Sinclair, and his captive Eleanor ‘Jinx’ Grace. The GODDESS ISLES series is set in the same world as the author’s MONSTERS IN THE DARK and the INDEBTED series. FOURTH A LIE should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book three THIRD A KISS:

With most of the island security dead or missing, Sullivan is at the mercy of his captor, a demented and psychopathic mind without empathy, conscience or remorse. Believing the woman he loves is safe, Sullivan gives into his fate only to discover Eleanor has returned to save the man that she loves. Jealousy and power are at the heart of the betrayal when Sullivan must face his own demons to protect Eleanor Grace, and the islands he loves.
