Freya- exciting story
I loved this book but the end was confusing.
Great potential. Poor Execution.
I don't know what it was about this book, but it always felt a little too disconnected. Perhaps the pacing was too fast. Nothing ever really felt like it flowed from moment to moment. Perhaps expanding on each event just a little would have made the difference to me. I enjoy just about everything in this book, characters and setting and lore. But the writing made it a chore to read. I really wanted to love this book, but I was never drawn in well enough to forget the real world.
Could have been good but Mostly a romance
Ugh I just want to read a good fantasy story w a female main character. Why do they always turn into harlequin romances.
